For ASIC & EDA Engineers

Work with me through Athena Cloud Engineers.

I am building a network of experienced semiconductor engineers who can support client projects when Athena needs additional technical depth, specialized expertise, or project capacity.

If you are strong technically, dependable, comfortable working directly with engineering teams, and able to take ownership of your work, I want to hear from you.

Who I Want to Hear From

Engineers who can contribute quickly and professionally.

I am especially interested in engineers with practical production experience in ASIC implementation, signoff, methodology, or related EDA disciplines.

ASIC Physical Design

Floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, ECO, congestion, implementation, and RTL/netlist-to-GDSII execution.

STA & Timing Closure

PrimeTime, Tempus, SDC, MMMC, setup/hold, ECO, clock-path analysis, and signoff timing.

Power & IR/EM

PrimePower/PT-PX, Voltus, RedHawk, UPF, power intent, power integrity, and low-power implementation.

Physical Verification

Calibre, IC Validator, DRC, LVS, ERC, DFM, antenna, and tape-out signoff.

EDA / CAD Methodology

Flow development, Tcl/Python automation, infrastructure, methodology, debug tools, and productivity improvements.

Related ASIC Specialists

DFT, synthesis, formal, low-power, verification, or other skills that complement physical-design delivery.

How It Can Work

A professional engineering network built around client needs.

1. Introduce YourselfSend your résumé and a concise summary of your strongest ASIC/EDA skills.
2. Technical DiscussionWe discuss your background, tool depth, recent project experience, and the kind of work you can own.
3. Match to a ProjectWhen an Athena client opportunity fits your experience, I can contact you about the technical scope and availability.
4. Client EngagementIf the fit is right, we define the engagement, deliverables, responsibilities, and business terms before work begins.
What Matters to Me

The engineers representing Athena must be people a client can trust.

Technical ability is essential, but it is not the only requirement. I want engineers who protect the client relationship and deliver work professionally.

  • Strong hands-on technical capability in your stated area of expertise.
  • Ability to explain problems clearly and communicate status honestly.
  • Ownership of commitments, deliverables, and technical quality.
  • Respect for client confidentiality, NDA requirements, and proprietary information.
  • Professional behavior with client engineers, managers, and partner teams.
  • Willingness to raise risks early instead of hiding problems until the end.
